About This Diary

Welcome to a space for tiny moments and almost perfect stories.

If you’re wondering who’s behind this diary: hi. That would be me!
I go by Sophie Quinn. The name sounds like someone who writes in cafés, forgets to water her plants, and overthinks minor social interactions. Which, coincidentally, is exactly what I do.

I write about the in-betweens: the almosts, the nearly-saids, the too-late replies, and the thoughts I probably should’ve kept to myself (but didn’t). The everyday weirdness. The sharp edges of soft moments. The stuff that’s too small to talk about but too loud to ignore.
Basically, I write about (almost) everything. Just because I can.

Preferably with a good latte and without having an emotional crisis in public. At least not one you can see… most of it happens quietly, in my head, behind a polite smile.

I like to think I’m a fun girl. My two cats seem to agree, though that might just be because I’m warm, and they have zero respect for personal space.

Sometimes light. Sometimes sharp. Often both. Always honest-ish.
Life is a little messy, a little magic – and that’s exactly how it should be.

Welcome to Diary of Almost Everything. I write it so you don’t have to.

– Sophie

I’m Sophie Quinn

I write from cafés, quiet corners, and whatever moment I’m still mentally processing three days later.

Some people journal.
I write blog posts and call it coping.

This space is where I collect the almosts, the thoughts I should’ve kept to myself, and the kind of stories you only tell when no one interrupts you.

Welcome to Diary of Almost Everything.
Feel free to read along, just don’t ask me to summarize anything out loud.
